Youth development squad

Stourbridge's Youth Developmment Squad exists to bring forward talented players into the Club's adult teams and welcomes young men from the Club's own Junior Section as well as new faces from throughout the West Midlands and the border counties.

While winning remains a worthy objective, the over-riding aims is for the Club to help individual players develop and achieve their own playing goals which will allow them to get the maximum enjoyment from rugby throughout their lives. Many players continue their rugby careers at Stourton Park playing for Stourbridge RFC in National League 2 or league rugby for the Stourbridge Lions 1st XV. Which ever route players choose, Stourbridge provides quality player development with lots of further opportunities for honing skills at the 'coal face'.

Stourbridge runs two Youth Development sides - the under 19s who play on Saturdays and the under 17s who play on Sunday mornings.
