Ladies Rugby

We are looking forward to our 3rd season (2009/10) since we afiliated with the RFUW. Last season was a good learning curve for us as we improved our results and the strength of our squads as the season progressed. We are looking to build on the reputation of the club and establish ourselves as one of the top Midlands girls rugby teams. This season we played competitive league rugby in National Challenge League - Midlands 2 South, and recruited the services of a physiotherapist to attend matches and training sessions.

We have an enthusiastic group of Ladies and Girls (U15's, U18's), and we are always looking for new recruits to join us. We have established fixtures with a number of other clubs in the Midlands and are also fully involved in the Regional/County Rugby Programmes, from which a number of girls have already played for the Midlands regional team.

Any Ladies who are interested in playing should come to Stourbridge Rugby Club on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm for our training session; or Girls aged between 12 and 18 yrs old meet on Sunday morning at 10:15 for training sessions/matches, or contact one of the numbers below.
