Sunday 27th April - Lichfield Tournament (Away)

A great way to round off the end of our season. We played 2 squads, the Rhinos and the Panthers in 2 groups of 5 teams. Both squads came away with 2 wins, 1 draw and a loss to come 2nd in their respective groups, both losing to the top team in their group. A great performance by both teams.

The day was very enjoyable for players, coaches and parents.

A big thank you to the Parent Coaches, who ran the teams on the pitch and to Phil who did a great job getting the teams on the right pitch at the right time.

Sadly, Sue has decided that she can longer help with the management of the squad. She has been dealing with the Membership and Registrations for the whole of the Minis and Juniors for the last few months, a role that she will continue in next season. This will take up much of her time. We would like to thank Sue for all her support and efforts over the last 3 years, it is much appreciated. Sue will still be around, as Charlie will be playing in the Under 9s.

Sarah will be carrying on as Manager, but we would welcome someone stepping forward to help her out.

Wednesday 14th May, 8:30pm - Coaches Meeting

Rich and I would like to meet all the Parent Coaches (venue to be decided) on Wednesday 14th May at 9:00pm. We would like to review the season, look forward to next season and how we need to plan for it, and also look at future coaching courses for all of us.

Sunday 11th May, 10:30am - Presentation Morning

We would like to welcome everyone who has played or trained with us this season. The presentations will be taking place in the May Ball marquee at 10:30am. It is a celebration of our season, so please try to make it. Children are asked to wear their playing kit with trainers.

Next Season...

Don't forget you'll be looking at the Under 9s section for next season. Hopefully, we will all have had a nice long break from Rugby and will come back refreshed and raring to go. Rich and I will be running some warm up evening sessions in August just to get us back into the swing of things. Look out for details on the new section of the website.
